This deal in SS2 Petaling Jaya offered ayam pongteh, sambal kangkung, lap cheong onion omelette and unlimited soup of the day for 3 pax at RM24.
The restaurant was nestled amongst the residential area of Chow Yang. The decor of the place left much to be desired – it was a little Peranakan and a little of childrens toys on the side plus a dash of colour here and too much on another side – anyway, you get the drift.

Lap cheong onion omelette was all too ordinary.
The main snag was the small metal wires we found in our rice so although business at this restaurant wasn’t all that brisk, food hygiene was surely not one of their top priority. This topped by the fact that they allow pets into common dining areas would ensure that we will not be making future visits to this restaurant.
I'm tragically devastated to come across your review and we apologize you had such an undesirable meal! I assure you we painstakingly try to practice hygiene as best we can & it is regrettable that you are the only patron so far in my 1 year in the restaurant to have fallen victim to such an unfortunate circumstance. Your advice will certainly help us apply proper adjustments to a higher standard.
ReplyDeleteAs for our couple of patrons with pets (toy dogs which are very well behaved ones thank goodness!) they are ardent regulars and since we're firm supporters of WWF, it would certainly depict otherwise should we turn away such patrons. If you'd voiced out your dislike of "pets" we could have seated you at the other end of our restaurant herewith.
As for our so called "toys" which are displayed, they are actually given out to patrons with kids to keep the young tikes entertained whilst the parents enjoy their meal. We've by now completed distribution of the toys to a bunch of happy kids!
Due to your blog, we've replaced one of our major kitchen staff, redecorated the entire place and are placing top priority & emphasis on food QC but unfortunately since you've decided NEVER to visit us again, you will NOT be qualified to impose any comparison.
Again, we thank you for keeping us on out toes.
