This restaurant specializes in claypot curries. The food is always delicious but I believe the portions are getting smaller with subsequent visits! Finally, a decent coffee joint with snacks and meals on the side.  This cosy cafe has various outlets across the city (IPC shopping centre, The Mines, Subang Avenue and Solaris Mont Kiara).

Ninja Joe

 

Ninja Joe has added new items to its menu.  The simple pork burgers are now complimented with Big Boss burger (minced meat patty with onion, bacon, egg, cheese), Sloppy Joe (spicy meat sauce with onion, bacon and cheese) and Sumo rice sets (eg. char siew rice).

Big Boss – simple delicious and fresh.

 

Sloppy Joe – a tad too spicy and messy.

 

Chilli cheese fries – this one takes a while to prepare but is worth the wait.

 

The pork burgers (original, teriyaki, oriental, spicy etc) are still available although Ninja Joe no longer offers discounts on bulk purchases of these simple burgers.

Lecka-Lecka

A triple scoop gelato plus milkshake for RM10 at Lecka-Lecka was indeed a treat too good to miss.  The outlet at e-Curve was quiet on a weekday afternoon and hence, service was prompt.  We were allowed to select combinations of either fruit flavoured (eg. strawberry/banana etc) OR creamy flavoured (chocolate, biscotti etc) combinations of ice-cream/milkshake.  We were told mixing fruit and creamy flavours in a single serve was not allowed as it would ruin the taste of the treat.

The outcome – delicious delights on a warm, sunny afternoon.  Warning: a triple scoop portion of ice-cream and milkshake is best shared!  The unassuming portion is dense and will be too heavy going even for ice-cream connoisseurs.
